We have a passion for nature that we are excited to share with people of all ages! Our inquiry-based programs promote exploration and curiosity. We know you learn best when you can directly engage, ask questions, and observe the answers for yourself. Here, everyone is invited to be a scientist!
Field Trips
We are ready to connect your students with nature through exploratory, place-based learning! We have a variety of grade-specific programs to choose from for pre-k through high school, all tailored to meet the South Carolina Science Standards. Perfect for public, private, charter, and homeschool groups.
Other Education Programs
Summer Camp
Our immersive summer camp is attended by middle school students nominated for both economic need and an aptitude for science and nature. Each student is offered a full scholarship to attend. Research shows nature-based experiences like those provided during summer camp have the potential to create an outsized and long-lasting impact.
Community Programs
Conestee Nature Preserve is committed to providing the community with opportunities for education, enrichment, and outright fun! Programs vary in theme and length. Join us for a night hike, birding excursion, build a rain barrel, learn to identify trees, and so many more. Each season brings new opportunities!
